Nov. 15 Green Bag Lunch forum draws professionals sharing sustainability success stories of municipalities
November 19, 2012
All eyes and ears were on the guest panelists during the first Green Bag Lunch forum that was held on Nov. 15, 2012. Monthly sessions planting the seeds for development of a comprehensive best practices manual on community sustainability
GreeningUSA and the Syracuse Center of Excellence held a very successful first Green Bag Lunch forum on Nov. 15. The topic, Governmental Leadership in Sustainability, drew over 20 attendees and touched upon many good starting points for getting conversations rolling on best practices in community sustainability. Many thanks to all who attended, and especially to our guest panelists (pictured clockwise from left) Chris Anderson, Association of Towns of the State of New York; Greg Michel, EcoAha! Founder and Sustainability Consultant; Sam Gordon, Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board; and David Coburn, Onondaga County Office of the Environment.
